A beefier processor and more memory could also give the iPhone 18 Pro exclusive or improved Apple Intelligence features. They could make writing assistance, image generation, notification summaries, photo searches and interactions with Siri better.
Apple will probably emphasise privacy by performing more processing on-device, or more processing in its own cloud systems.
